Anna Maria City Pier
The City Pier Restaurant on the historical City Pier is a wonderful unique attraction that can't be missed. Its 776 ft wooden plank walkway leads you back in time for an "Old Florida" feel. Originally built in 1911, it welcomed visitors and residents by steamboat. As of today it still remains one of Manatee County's #1 main attractions that locals and tourists can't resist visiting year after year. You can possibly see dolphins, manatees, gaming and local fish and pelicans as you walk down the pier towards the Old Florida Style restaurant that has weather many of storms.
At the end of the pier is where the restaurant provides indoor, fully glassviewed window seating, or outdoor covered causal dinning seating.Serving lunch and dinner, their reasonably priced menu has something for the whole family to enjoy. Opposite of the restaurant is also a bait shop that serves drinks and has bait supplies. Free Fishing on the pier is a popular past time by many locals and tourists alike or enjoy some of Anna Maria's the beautiful white beaches on the piers base. There is something for the whole family to enjoy!
